There are so many pool contractors in the Texas market that it can be overwhelming to choose the one that is right for you. Since the state of Texas does not require pool contractors to be licensed, it’s important to thoroughly vet the company you hire to remodel your pool. We suggest selecting a contractor who:
- Is certified through the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance
- Provides proof of their workers’ compensation and liability insurance
- Has been in business in your area for years
- Puts everything in writing (quote, contract, adjustments)
- Comes highly recommended with multiple referrals in your area
- Is upfront and communicative regarding a timeline and potential challenges with project
- Obtains the necessary city permits for your project
- Has knowledge and experience regarding building in North Texas soil

Our team handles projects of all sizes. Check out the list of our offered services and features.
The process starts with an in-person consultation during which we will hear from you regarding your vision for your backyard. Once we have an idea of the scope of the project, we can give you an estimated timeline based on scheduling and equipment availability.
It’s important to note that several factors will impact the project length: rain, temperature, and supply chain delays.
Our team typically loses two days of construction for every one day of rain depending on the amount of rainfall. Concrete, tile, and stonework cannot be completed when the temperature will fall below freezing within 12 hours. A pool cannot be plastered if the temperature will fall below freezing before the pool is filled with water after the plaster is laid. Current supply chain delays also impact equipment availability, which then delays construction.
With multiple variables that can impact your project timeline, we make sure to communicate with you each step of the way. You’ll know what to expect throughout the whole process.
Pool circulation can make or break your pool. It impacts the level of maintenance and chemicals required to keep your pool running smoothly. Poor circulation can be caused by how the plumbing lines are run, how the equipment is installed, as well as low quality and quantity of equipment.
Incorrect design and installation can cause water clarity, algae, and plumbing issues. Builders cut costs by using cheaper or undersized equipment, or by not installing enough skimmers, drains, or valves on all the plumbing lines. This can cost you money in the long run when it comes to operating your pool.
If you need to cut back on the overall pool budget, it’s better to go with a smaller pool instead of skimping on the pool equipment.
Natural Water Environments is rated as a Pro Edge Builder, with both Pentair and Jandy, which means you get an extended 3-year warranty on your electronic control systems, circulation pumps, filters, and heaters instead of the manufacturer's regular 1-year warranty.
No! A salt water pool that isn’t maintained properly runs the risk of destroying your plaster, pool equipment, coping, diving boards, surrounding deck and lounge furniture. Our team will give you alternative sanitation options. Below you can see some examples of how salt water can damage your pool.
